Chennai, June 2026: Celebrating 30 years of honouring compassion, service, and social impact, the Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation has invited nominations from Tamil Nadu for the prestigious 30th National Mahaveer Awards 2027. Recognised among India's most respected civilian honours for selfless service, the awards celebrate individuals and institutions making an extraordinary difference in Non-Violence & Vegetarianism, Education, Medicine, and Community & Social Service. Each award carries a ₹10 lakh cash prize, along with a citation and memento. Nominations are open until July 31, 2026. Chennai, June 30, 2026: The Rotary Club of Chennai Capital has successfully completed its Mythri Jeevan initiative by donating advanced medical equipment to Sringeri Sharada Equitas Hospital, strengthening the hospital's ability to deliver world-class patient care.
