Chennai, May 15, 2025: SIMS Hospital , a renowned multispeciality hospital in the city, has made history by successfully performing, a beating heart four vessel bypass surgery (CABG) and pacemaker implantation in a single procedure on a 92-year-old patient with coronary blockages, showcasing that even nonagenarians can benefit from the procedure when they are in good health. The surgery was uneventful, and after spending three days in the ICU, the patient was discharged, seven days post-surgery.
