Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau focuses on India as key market for 2019
Hon Minister of Tourism mentioned that with the latest free visa on arrival policy the destination is all geared up to welcome more Indians to Sri Lanka. CHENNAI, August 14, 2019: In an effort to ramp up Indian outbound tourists visiting Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotional Bureau (SLTPB) recently announced free visa on arrival to visitors from India and 47 other countries. In order to increase number of arrivals from India the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau has planned rigorous tourist promotion campaigns. Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau SLTPB has also collaborated with SriLankan Airlines; The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL) and inbound tour operators has introduced attractive packages, specifically targeting India. The package offered includes discounted airfare, accommodation, transport and more, ranging from 30 % to 60%.
