IMGC is India's first mortgage guarantee company, incorporated in 2012, and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines for mortgage guarantee companies (2008). IMGC has surpassed ₹20,000 crores in home loan guarantees for over 100,000 customers across more than 400 locations nationwide since its inception in 2012. IMGC has collaborations with 23 lending institutions, including banks, housing finance companies (HFCs), and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), to help aspiring homeowners achieve their dreams. In FY22-23, IMGC doubled its market share in South India, accounting for 30% of all originations in the region. It guaranteed Rs. 2,300 crores in home loans for over 18,000 families, enabling affordable and mass housing initiatives.
