To commemorate World Thalassemia Day, which is celebrated on May 8th every year, the event honoured the struggle of patients suffering from the disease . Kidney Transplantation gives new hope for children suffering from chronic kidney disease  Chennai, May 03, 2023: A 16-year-old girl who was suffering from chronic kidney disease was given a new lease of life by the doctors at the Rainbow Children's Hospital in Chennai. The team of doctors completed the first Pediatric ABO Incompatible Renal (Kidney) Transplant successfully.
