Food Donation Drive by Geo India Foundation initiative of 500 packs of Lunch & Dinner to the Frontline Warriors of King’s Institute inaugurated by Health Minister Ma.Subramaniam

Chennai, 3rd June 2021: The Geo India Foundation, founded by Mrs. Priya Jemima is donating 500 packs of lunch and dinner daily for the Doctors, Nurses and frontline warriors of King’s Institute, for the next two months. Video Link: This initiative by the Geo India Foundation was inducted by Mr. Ma. Subramaniam, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Department . The trustees, George and T.N. Santhosh Kumar are also a part of this initiative. Each meal pack contains 2 Chappatis, 1 variety rice, 1 Sabji, 1 salad, pickle and a water bottle. For the past one month (May 2nd 2021 to June 2nd 2021), the Geo India Foundation started  distributing food to the needy people around Chennai. Day after day, they were providing breakfast and lunch for patient attenders in Tambaram GH and Omandurar GH . Social Activist Apsara Reddy’s Corona Outreach; Distributed provisions and food to affected families

Chennai: As the second wave claims many lives, Apsara Reddy distributed provisions to over 100 transgender women. She also distributed cooked food to over 400 families in the Kannagi nagar area. She was joined by Divya Swapna Raj of Women’s League Foundation who had contributed rice and also Shyam Sundar and team of Jain Annapoorna Trust. Video 👇👇 Apsara said, “We are in the midst of a pandemic that is claiming lives and people are economically crushed. Many families are starving and hunger is humiliating. We met with so many families who hadn’t cooked a decent meal in months. It was heartwarming to see the love and gratitude in their eyes.” Apsara also visited a children’s care home along with Sankalp, an organisation that provides aid to the needy and gave away chocolates, masks and many other essentials to children at the Church run home in Amjinkarai. The children expressed their deep gratitude with a lovely dance performance in honour of Apsara Reddy. ****

CREDAI Chennai contributes 20 Oxygen Concentrators to the Greater Chennai Corporation

Chennai: The Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI), Chennai has donated 20 Oxygen Concentrators to the Corporation of Chennai, looking to do their part in combating the pandemic. This occurred in the presence of Sri Dayanidhi Maran, Sri Udayanidhi Stalin, Sri Sekar Babu, Minister, HR and CE, and Mr. Bedi - Commissioner, Chennai Corporation. Mr. Senthil of Ganga Foundation had represented CREDAI and handed over the concentrators. ****
