Indian Coast Guard Veterans Welfare Association Marks 8th Raising Day | Launches New Flag & Website 2.0
Chennai, November 15, 2025: The Indian Coast Guard Veterans Welfare Association (ICGVWA) proudly celebrated its 8th Raising Day today, a milestone that also witnessed the unveiling of the Association’s new Flag and the launch of the upgraded ICGVWA Website 2.0, designed to further advance the welfare of Indian Coast Guard veterans. The celebration was attended by key office bearers including President N. Bharathan, Secretary P. K. Babu; Treasurer R. Rajagopal, Chief Legal Advisor Advocate M K Govindan; Tamil Nadu State Head Vasukinathan, along with senior members and volunteers of the Association. Across all regions, the Raising Day is being observed with a variety of activities such as veterans’ welfare meets, collective submission of Life Certificates, entertainment programmes for ladies, and family get-togethers.
