Dubai / Mumbai | July 2026: Veteran Indian entertainment promoter Deepak Choudhary is reportedly facing significant legal action in Dubai after court judgments allegedly froze his assets and barred him from leaving the UAE over debts amounting to approximately AED 2.99 million (around ₹76.97 million / ₹7.70 crore). According to court documents reviewed by this publication, a Dubai court issued a travel ban on 11 June 2026, while a separate execution court order reportedly directed authorities to freeze his bank accounts, payment cards, properties, receivables and other assets pending recovery proceedings. As of the latest information available, the travel restriction and asset freeze reportedly remain in force. Sources familiar with the matter claim the order took effect shortly before Choudhary was due to board a flight from Dubai to Mumbai on 11 June 2026, preventing his departure at the airport.
