Chennai, 12th September 2025 – The Tamil Nadu Forest Department today launched the trailer of “Wild Tamil Nadu”, a landmark wildlife documentary celebrating the State’s extraordinary biodiversity. Released at Taj Connemara, Chennai, the film is a CSR initiative by Sundram Fasteners, directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Kalyan Varma, in collaboration with Nature inFocus. From misty Ghats and hidden waterfalls to flamingo-filled wetlands and glowing firefly forests, the trailer offers a glimpse of Tamil Nadu’s stunning ecosystems. The hour-long documentary features an original score by Grammy-winner Ricky Kej and narration by actor Arvind Swamy.
