TAMILNADU STATE URDU ACADEMY Govt.of Tamil Nadu Dept.of Higher Education Chennai - 600009 Chennai: The Govt of Tamil Nadu through Department of Higher education has passed Govt Orders Vide G.O. No: 53 and 54 dated 25-2-2021 has reconstituted Tamil Nadu State Urdu Academy. This has been a very long pending demand of Urdu Speaking people of Tamil Nadu and Urdu Language Lovers of the State. This academy is being headed by the Hon'ble Minister of Higher Education as Chairman and Dr. Md. Nayeemur Rahman Former Southern Regional Coordinator, MANAS & NMDFC, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India and Director of Dr. MGR Deemed University as its Vice Chairman of the Tamil State Urdu Academy.
