VFS Global unveils new and more spaciousPremium Lounge in Chennai

The Premium Lounge is available for those applying for visas to 25 countries. Demand for the Premium Lounge service across India has grown 121% in Jan-Apr 2019. Residents of Chennai can now apply for their visas in the comfort of VFS Global’s Premium Lounge at the Visa Application Centre in Egmore. The centre provides visa services for 25 countries, and applicants to any of these destinations can opt for the Premium Lounge service. First Donor Liver Transplant Done At SRM Medical College & Hospital Research Centre

Liver Transplant Facility at SRM Hospital, A Boon to local residents . Chennai, July 3, 2019 : The first deceased donor liver transplantation (DDLT) has been successfully performed at the state-of-the-art SRM Medical College and Hospital Research Centre at Kantankulathur near Chennai by doctors from Gleneagles Global health city. The announcement was made by Ram Natesan - COO SRM Medical health sciences & Research and Dr. A Sundaram – Dean for SRM Medical college hospital. The patient, a 46-year-old male from Andhra Pradesh was diagnosed with end-stage liver disease and was managed with medical therapy initially but later this failed. Due to the decompensated liver disease status and failure of medical therapy, doctors at SRM medical college hospital advised the patient and family members the urgent need for liver transplantation.
