Chennai, October 6, 2023: The 4th edition of Ishwar Natrajan Boccia tournament was conducted in Vidya Sagar, Kotturpuram on 5th and 6th Oct marking the World Cerebral Palsy awareness month . There were a total of 8 teams who participated in the tournament which included students from Vidya Sagar, 2 from Vidya Sagar CBR, MCDS, Balavihar, SPASTN, NIEPMD and Anbalaya.  Tournament youtube video link 👇  Mr. Sai Srinivas, a Sea Swimmer , Paralympic sports player and a person with multiple disabilities was the Chief Guest who officially inaugurated the tournament. The first had 12 nail biting matches between different teams to decide on the semi finalists.  Runner up team (Basin Bridge) On the second day, the semis decided the finalists. MCDS and Vidya Sagar CBR team entered the finals. On a very close call, MCDS won the tournament and Mr. Selvaraj, State Information Commissioner graced the valedictory event on Oct 6th.
