Chennai, April 1, 2026: Mar Gregorios College of Arts and Science celebrated its 25th Graduation Day on Wednesday with solemnity and grandeur at its campus, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s academic journey. A total of 615 students — including 554 undergraduates and 61 postgraduates — were conferred degrees, symbolising years of dedication, perseverance, and achievement. The ceremony was presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Mathews Mar Pachomios, Bishop of St. Ephrem Khadki, Pune, while Prof. Dr. Rita John, Registrar of University of Madras, attended as the Chief Guest. The proceedings began at 10:30 a.m. with a traditional academic procession, followed by a prayer song and the Tamilthai Vazhthu. Rev. Fr. Mathew Pallikunnel, Secretary of the institution, formally declared the ceremony open. Prof. Titty Elizabeth Phillips welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest.
