The event was flagged off by Thiru Dayanidhi Maran, Member of Parliament - Chennai Central Rotary Club of Madras Youth Services team in collaboration with Meenakshi Shiv Kumar Eashwaran Memorial Foundation organized a Cancer Awareness Program named "One Walk One Hope". The event witnessed an overwhelming response with 27 Interact schools and 10 Rotaract clubs participating in a 4 km walk. The purpose of the walk was to create awareness about breast cancer and educate people on the importance of early detection and timely treatment.
