Chennai Institute of Technology and Bisleri International Set Guinness World Record with Largest Human Recycling Logo

January 21, 2026:  Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), in collaboration with Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd., has created a Guinness World Record for the Largest Human Recycling Logo Formation, bringing together 5,037 students to promote environmental awareness and responsible waste management. The feat surpassed the previous record of 3,373 participants set by CIPET, Chennai, in 2019. The initiative symbolised collective responsibility towards recycling and sustainability, highlighting the importance of circular economy practices through large-scale youth participation. Mr. K.
