Chennai, March 27, 2026: In a notable step towards enhancing urban safety and reinforcing community-led security, ICL Fincorp, in partnership with the Lions Club and Tamil Nadu Police, has rolled out a 100-camera CCTV surveillance network across Ashok Nagar. The initiative underscores the organization’s commitment to fostering safer neighbourhoods through collaborative civic action. The programme, held at R3 Ashok Nagar Police Station, was inaugurated by K.G. Anilkumar, Goodwill Ambassador of LACTC and CMD of ICL Fincorp, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries. Chennai, 27 March 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras today announced a significant philanthropic commitment from its alumnus Arvind Raghunathan towards advancing foundational research in computer science. The contribution will support the establishment of the Arvind Raghunathan Centre for Theoretical Computer Science (ARtCS), a dedicated hub for deep, curiosity-driven inquiry into the mathematical underpinnings of computing.
