Chennai, 2 April 2025: The REC Foundation, the CSR arm of REC Ltd. (formerly known as ‘Rural Electrification Corporation, Ltd.’) is donating Rs.1.83 crores under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme for the procurement of essential medical equipment at Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, Chennai (KKCTH). The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the REC Foundation and Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital was signed on 02-Apr-2025 at the Hospital premises in Chennai. The MOA was signed by Smt. Thara Ramesh (HoD & Chief Program Manager, REC Ltd.) and Mr. S. Rengarajan (CEO of KKCTH – a unit of The CHILDS Trust), in the presence of Shri.
