Deep Brain Stimulation also helps patient with Dystonia Chennai, December 14, 2021: Apollo Hospitals, Chennai today announced the successful use of advanced ‘Brain Sensing’ technology in Deep Brain Stimulation on patients with Parkinson’s disease. Deep brain stimulation (DBS), is a neurosurgical procedure that involves implanting electrodes deep inside the brain to improve symptoms of Parkinson’s disease . The use of advanced brain sensing technologies help in individualized monitoring for effect that maximizes therapeutic outcome.
