Food Donation Drive by Geo India Foundation initiative of 500 packs of Lunch & Dinner to the Frontline Warriors of King’s Institute inaugurated by Health Minister Ma.Subramaniam

Chennai, 3rd June 2021: The Geo India Foundation, founded by Mrs. Priya Jemima is donating 500 packs of lunch and dinner daily for the Doctors, Nurses and frontline warriors of King’s Institute, for the next two months.

This initiative by the Geo India Foundation was inducted by Mr. Ma. Subramaniam, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Department. The trustees, George and T.N. Santhosh Kumar are also a part of this initiative. Each meal pack contains 2 Chappatis, 1 variety rice, 1 Sabji, 1 salad, pickle and a water bottle.
For the past one month (May 2nd 2021 to June 2nd 2021), the Geo India Foundation started  distributing food to the needy people around Chennai. Day after day, they were providing breakfast and lunch for patient attenders in Tambaram GH and Omandurar GH. Not just food donation, but also groceries were distributed for the Tribal community people living in and around Chengalpet and Maduranthagam. 

A total of 12 Oxygen concentrator has been donated to Thiruvannamalai GH, Chidambaram GH, Trichy GH and PHC Kodambakkam. And also 4 oxygen concentrators were given to Individual home isolation patient who are in need of oxygen.
