In a world flooded with apathy & fear, the incredible stories of Good Samaritans like Mani fills our society with compassion & inspiration. Alert Being Awards is a unique recognition that honours humanity by awarding Good Samaritans like Mani, who have made a difference to individual life or to the society at large by impacting and saving lives. The award is instituted by ALERT, a voluntary non-profit organisation that empowers a common man to act In Case of Emergency & Save lives. With a firm faith in the adage - “Goodness begets goodness” – the award is aimed at being an inspiration to many more Good Samaritans who are just around the corner needing the same.
Nominations for the third edition of Alert Being Awards are opened & this year ALERT Being Awards will be presented to 13 Good Samaritans who have saved or preserved lives.
Distinguished members of the jury Thiru Md. Shakeel Akhtar IPS, ADGP - Armed Police, Dr. J S Rajkumar, Chairman - LIMA, Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, Diwan to Prince of Arcot, Ms. Veena Kumaravel, Founder - Naturals Group of Salons & Mr. Sujith Kumar, Founder - Maatram Foundation will shortlist the awardees from the numerous inspirational heroes who get nominated. The shortlisted awardees will be honored at the ALERT BEING AWARDS 2019 ceremony scheduled in Chennai on 13th Sep 2019.
Speaking about ALERT BEING AWARDS 2019, Ms Kala Balasundaram, Founder - ALERT, said “With laws being made favourable to Good Samaritans who save others & organisations like ALERT creating awareness & training general public on life saving techniques, recognitions like Alert Being Awards that brings out people who have lead by example in Saving Lives in many different ways, is exactly what we need to bring out the hero within each one of us”.
