The Centre of Excellence for Endoscopic Spine Surgery at Gleneagles Global Health City achieved the rare feat since its launch in 2015 Chennai, 30th August 2023: Gleneagles Global Health City, a leading multi-Speciality centre in Chennai, announced the successful completion of over 500 Endoscopic Spine Surgeries in a span of eight years. The Institute of Advanced Spine Sciences at the hospital has performed 578 cases of endoscopic lumbar spine surgeries for over the past eight years. About one-third of them were Transforaminal discectomies performed under local anesthesia and the remaining were performed by Interlaminar approach under general anesthesia.
