Chennai, April 22, 2021: iLRNU has entered into a strategic MoU with Tamil Nadu Supreme Skill Development Center for Health. The main objective of this colaboration is to provide specialized courses and training to impart both clinical skils and soft skills for Healthcare professionals.

TN Apex Skil Development Centre for healthcare ( https://www.tnhealthskills.in/ ) is engaged in skill development training and has been created as a joint venture between Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) and Kauvery Group of Hospitals. Their purpose is to provide high end sector-specific skill development training, with the purpose of engaging with industries as well as other stakeholders to design and then develop industry pertinent training curriculum.

iLRNU (https://www.ilrnu.com/) is a platform which connects trainers, knowledge partners to impart market demanding and futuristic skills especially in emerging technologies like Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Cyber Security and Artificial Intellige for skilling and create job opportunities.

iLRNU enables tutors or training academies to offer tutoring in-person or live), self-paced courses, virtual instructor led trainings (VILTS) and training events. iLRNU is a brain child of Dr. 5 Lakshman (Founder, NYCS Prep Inc) and Dr. Paulsharma Chakravarhty. NYCS Prep has 1.5 decade long experience in skilling physicians and nurses for USMLE. 

Till date, NYCS Prep has successfully skilled 8000+ students to attend USMLE exams with higher passing rates. Dr. Lakshman indicated "Treatment advancements and technology interventions are evolving rapidly and hence equipping healthcare professionals to align with this agile environment is very crucial to provide quality healthcare services". 

Dr. Sanju Thomas (MD, TNADSC) emphasized the importance of industry-based curriculum mapping to various employers need in addressing the existing skill gap in healthcare sector.

To cater to this current and upcoming needs, iLRNU proposes to provide niche courses in the healthcare landscape like telemedicine for practicing physicians, molecular biology techniques (ex RT-PCR), technical skills for clinical application and calibration of medical devices, informatics application in healthcare, and customized soft skills for physicians and nurses. In addition, we foresee an extensive need to increase the need for skilled healthcare professionals in Tier2 and Tier3 cities.

This strategic collaboration will revolve around up skilling healthcare professionals and to offer specialized programs to cater to the growing need.

Dr. Paulsharma Chakravarthy (Co founder, iLRNU) said addressing the skills gap is a growing conce in all sectors and iLRNU's primary focus is to bridge this gap by providing its innovative platform which supports all learning modes and to deliver courses and training to fill this gap.
