NSIC continues to play a key role in helping the MSMEs with logistics infrastructure support, enabling them to get their products to market, both, effectively and efficiently, facilitating good transportation networks and warehousing facilities that enable seamless movement and smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods, essential for manufacturing operations. Additionally, it optimises supply chain efficiency by connecting producers with consumers and provides timely delivery and storage solutions, which are vital for meeting the market demands and in maintaining competitiveness across diverse industries” he said.
“Furthermore, NSIC endeavours to target five lakh MSMEs over the next three years, with 50% women entrepreneurs onboard, showcasing and promoting their B2B and B2C products and services”, he added.
Thiru C.K.Mohan President TANSTIA, spoke on how India's Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is a game changer that can empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to compete in both local and global markets. He applauded NSIC’s TEAM initiative and welcomed the awareness program saying, “In today’s circumstances the MSMEs cannot function to their fullest potential without Digital Marketing. Training workshops and awareness programs like these not only enhance the technical capabilities of the budding entrepreneurs for better business management, skill development, growth strategies and ongoing support with access to latest trends, skills and techniques, but also will provide them with exposure and awareness to the international markets and the opportunities that lie ahead”.
Digitization has the potential to transform MSMEs by streamlining processes, improving efficiency, expanding market reach, visibility and thereby enhancing customer experiences. By adopting digital tools and platforms, businesses can automate tasks, reduce operational costs, and access valuable data insights for informed decision-making enabling themselves to compete on a level playing field with larger enterprises and tap into global markets.
