To commemorate World Thalassemia Day, which is celebrated on May 8th every year, the event honoured the struggle of patients suffering from the disease . It brought together affected children and their families and well-known haematologists to speak about the condition, its traits, things to be mindful of, the journey to recovery and medical crowdfunding. Kidney Transplantation gives new hope for children suffering from chronic kidney disease  Chennai, May 03, 2023: A 16-year-old girl who was suffering from chronic kidney disease was given a new lease of life by the doctors at the Rainbow Children's Hospital in Chennai. The team of doctors completed the first Pediatric ABO Incompatible Renal (Kidney) Transplant successfully.
