Participants hold banners and placards with information about the causes, symptoms, and prevention of liver diseases. The walkathon helped raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy liver and promoting the early detection of liver-related illnesses.

“After the brain, the liver is the second largest and second-most complicated organ in the body and if proper precautions are not taken, the liver can easily get damaged. The walkathon is intended to raise awareness of liver infections among participants and the general public and to encourage regular check-ups to identify any underlying diseases. We are pleased to partner with the Hindustan Institute of Science and Technology to drive home the message on Liver care”, said Dr. Alok Khullar, CEO, Gleneagles Global Health City.
