Tournament OS launches “Skoolympics 2019” – an Inter-school Sports Fest designed to enrich students in mind, body and spirit
- The event culminates in a “Open 5km & 10km run” that will raise funds for identification, training and development of sports talent across tier 2 & 3 towns

September 26th, 2019: Tournament OS, an exclusive operating
system designed for sports tournaments today, launched “Skoolympics 2019” – an inter school sports fest. The
award-winning NASSCOM incubated start-up is a digitization and fan engagement
platform capable of providing users with a great sporting experience. M.Renukalakshmi

With the tag line “Game On”, Skoolympics 2019 is
a one of a kind state-wide sports festival. The first edition of Skoolympics
2019 is scheduled between October 9th-13th, 2019 at Nehru Indoor Stadium, SDAT Aquatic Complex, SDAT
Hockey Stadium and Nehru Indoor Stadium. This event will feature more than 100
schools from across Tamil Nadu competing across 10 sports.Chennaiyin FC is the
official Football Partner for the event.
On the 5th day of this sporting
extravaganza, the organizers are conducting a“Open 5km & 10km run” Through
this marathon, either individuals can sign up for the 5km or 10km run. The
proceeds from the marathon will go towards the identification, training and
development of sportsmen/women across tier 2 & 3 towns and villages.

Elango, Founder of tournament OS said, “Skoolympics 2019 was ideated
keeping in mind the lack of centrally organized sports fests in the city. We
plan to make Skoolympics 2019 an annual property, to primarily identify young
sporting talent and to give them a platform to train and perform to their best
abilities. The entire event will be run, managed on the tournament OS platform.
This will help us create a database of young sportsmen in our state who will
hopefully be able to participate across national and international tournaments
in the future!”
Skoolympics 2019 will be entirely run on the
tournament OS platform, which is an exclusive operating system for sports
tournaments. The platform helps in creating tournaments in minutes and can
create draws and schedules in seconds as per international standards which are
bias-free. Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Athletics,
Swimming, Volleyball, Football 5’s, Basketball, Hockey, Kabaddi sports can be organised using the platform. The database can give access to a
large pool of players and certified referees who have registered.

"A unique ID for every sports person", helps a player track the
progress of their improvement from the first tournament they have participated
with the help of our live scoring feature.
Some key features of Khel ID are:
- Every player received a unique ID number (Khel ID) when they register for a sports match/camp organized by Tournament OS, using this Khel ID:
- Players can track their performance scores
- Improve performance goals
- Live scoring technology to track match details
- Platform analytics will help to drive relevant data intelligence

- Coaches can view player profiles, analyse their scores and improve their performances
