Chennai: Mar Gregorios College of Arts & Science  The Placement Cell and IQAC in association with Magic Bus India Foundation organized a Mega Job Fair on 23rd April 2024. The event took place in Mar Ivanios Hall at 9.30am. Around 30 companies visited. Out of 986 final year students nearly 600 students from Shift I and Shift II actively took part in Mega Job Fair. The remaining planned to do their higher studies and some decided to take up their family business.

Companies from different domain stepped in Mar Gregorios College for the Mega Job Fair like - Net Ambit, Muthoot Finance, Star Life Insurance, SBI Life, Mahindra Tech, MedPlus, BankBazaar.com, Boston Business Solution Pvt.Ltd., Federal Skill Academy (Federal Bank), Apollo Pharmacy.

They involved in recruiting suitable and appropriate students for their company in positions like Customer support, Audit Assistant, Sales and Distribution, Relationship Officer, Development Manager, Technical Support Engineer, IT and Non-IT etc.

The registration took place through QR Code and they attended the interview process. Many students got placed from various companies. Students were highly benefited through the job fair. A job fair is not a mere market place for skills. It is a beacon of hope for individuals seeking to carve out a better future. Collective efforts hold the power to shape the trajectory of countless lives.
