Chennai, May 28, 2023:  World Hunger Day is being celebrated today. On this day, Raindropss Charity Foundation and Anifa Briyani came together with a vision towards a Hunger free society.

As part of this initiative, J.Radhakrishnan, IAS, Commissioner,  Greater Chennai Corporation along with Actor Ashwin Kumar launched "Free Food Truck" at Anifa Briyani, Koyambedu.

Kauvery Hospital Alwarpet Performs World's First Catheter-Based Treatment for Failing Aortic & Pulmonary Valve

Chennai, July 10, 2026: In a landmark achievement for global cardiac care, Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet has successfully performed what is believed to be the world's first completely catheter-based treatment for both failing aortic and pulmonary valves following a Ross procedure—without the need for repeat open-heart surgery. This remarkable breakthrough offers renewed hope for patients with complex valve disease who are considered too high-risk for conventional surgery.
