While the N95 and other protective masks basically work on filtration mechanism to ensure protection against microbes,  the KARBON face mask’s inner layer comprises high-grade imported yarn that has antimicrobial properties to ensure effective neutralization of viruses and pathogens on contact. The first layer reduces the virus effect on contact while the double-knit second layer protects one from microbial infection and cuts down on the chance of secondary infection. The third (inner) layer, made of superior grade bio-yarn, maximizes protection (more than 95%, better than N95 masks) against airborne pollutants for a long duration.

“The KARBON face mask is a sustainable, comprehensive and economic choice against airborne infections. Although the N95 is a popular choice since it protects against airborne infection and the deadly virus, however, it needs to be discarded after a few hours of usage and is not reusable,” adds Barun Aggarwal, CEO, BreatheEasy.

BIO-YARN INNER PROTECTION

The chains of molecules containing anti-microbial properties are grafted onto the base of the raw fabric through biotechnology. In the event of direct contact, this fabric acts very rapidly against bacteria, fungus and the virus and this property remain intact even after washing.

WASHABLE, REUSABLE, LONG-LASTING

Made of patented fiber resourced from Europe and the USA, KARBON Face Mask is designed using a non-melt blown technique that makes it washable and reusable for up to 50 washes. Other N95 masks need to be discarded after every use, thus making these masks a little inconvenient as well as costly.
