Titan launches Tamil Nadu collection Watches

• An ensemble inspired by the culture, literature and architecture of timeless Tamil Nadu

Chennai, November 14^th, 2019 - Titan, India’s largest and most trusted watch brand, today launched a special edition of watches –The Namma Tamil Nadu Collection. The beautifully crafted collection reiterates fabulous tales from Tamil Nadu’s rich cultural heritage. The collection was unveiled by Ms. Revathi Kant – Chief Design Officer, Titan Company Limited and acclaimed dancer and actor Shobana Chandrakumar Pillai at Taj Connemara, Chennai followed by a captivating Bharata Natyam performance by the graceful Shobana.

These crafted timepieces bring to life the rich canvas of culture, art and language of Tamil Nadu; be it the magnificent temple architecture, the delicate craftsmanship of Kanjiwaram silk sarees or the unique Tamil script. Drawing inspiration from elements like the Annapakshi motif of Kanjiwaram silks, the Lotus patterns on temple ceilings, the offset pillars with Yali sculptures and the timeless Tamil script printed as numbers adorn, these watches are a fine blend of elegance and aesthetics in a contemporary way.

The collection has 7 distinctive timepieces for both men and women. These watches are adorned with artistic dials crafted with different techniques – material fusion, embossing, 3D forming and knurling.  Available in gold, rose-gold and steel finishes, the collection starts at INR 4,495/ - and ranges up to INR 6,995/-.

The Tamil Nadu Collection is available at the Titan.co.in, the World of Titan stores and all select official dealers across the state of Tamil Nadu.
