Indian Red Cross Society Tamil Nadu Branch Organised ‘MULTI SPECIALTY MEDICAL CAMP’


  • Thiru Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu and the President of Indian Red Cross Society Tamil Nadu Branch was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the Mega Multi Specialty Medical Camp;
  • The Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu also planted tree saplings in the Campus.         


Chennai, 1st October 2019: Indian Red Cross Society Tamil Nadu Branch organised the Mega Multi Specialty Medical Camp recently at M.N.M.Jain Engineering College, Thoraippakkam, in collaboration with M.G.M. Health Care Hospital.   

In the said Mega Medical Camp, the services of  Specialty Doctors viz, General Medicine, E.N.T., Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Dentistry, Diabetics,  Siddha and Ayurveda have been involved  and  they will prescribe medicines and also suggest for further medical  advice to the patients, if needed in  the Camp.



As part of the Camp, Sono Mammogram, Ultra Sound Scan and Lab investigation like Hb, X-ray, ECG, PFT, and Urine Routine Tests were carried out to the patients on free of cost in the Medical Camp.

Spectacles also provided to the patients at free of cost and referral services will also done for Cataract Surgery. More than 1500 persons benefited during the Mega Medical Camp.
                

Followed with, Mobility Aids, Tri-cycle, Iron Box, Hearing Aid, and Sewing Machines were distributed to the differently abled, destitute women, poor & down trodden community by the Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu in the function.
