Chennai, September 1st, 2024 - Vayah Vikas, a pioneering NGO dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens, is thrilled to announce its expansion into Chennai. Following a successful presence in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mysore, and Chengalpattu, Vayah Vikas continues its mission to empower seniors with various programs and services that foster active aging, financial and digital literacy, and community engagement.

Introducing Vayah Vikas to Chennai: To mark the beginning of its journey in Chennai, Vayah Vikas kicked off its operations with the much-anticipated Senior Stroll-a-Thon, an event designed to introduce the organization to the senior community of Chennai. The Stroll-a-Thon provided a platform for seniors to come together, engage in light physical activity, and learn more about the offerings of Vayah Vikas.

The event with over 400 participants, also highlights Vayah Vikas's commitment to promoting health and wellness among senior citizens. It was a day filled with camaraderie, information sessions, and activities that reflected the organization's core mission: to ensure that aging is a time of growth, opportunity, and joy.

Looking Ahead With its expansion into Chennai, Vayah Vikas aims to replicate the success it has achieved in other regions by continuing to offer programs that are not only impactful but also tailored to the needs and interests of the local senior community. The organization plans to roll out a series of initiatives in the coming months, including workshops on financial and digital literacy, health camps, and cultural events.
