Rameshwaram to Chennai Marina - 604kms- Multi staging Sea Swimming Expedition by children with special needs with various disabilities

Chennai, July 31, 2024: Wave Riders is organising Rameshwaram to Chennai Marina - 604kms- Multi staging Sea Swimming Expedition, which would be a tremendous source of encouragement and pride for the below mentioned children with special needs with various disabilities.

The above kids have been trained under head coach Sathishkumar & Team for around 8 years in SDAT, chennai.

Wave Riders has successfully obtained the NOC from the Coastal Security Group, Chennai, to conduct this sea swimming expedition from Rameshwaram to Chennai.  These children have been rigorously trained at the Shenoy Nagar Swimming Pool under the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. Their training has been expertly guided by their head coach, Mr. Sathish Kumar. The participants are eager and well- prepared for this challenge, with all necessary safety measures, including lifeguard arrangements, in place.

NOC for this mega was granted by Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Additional Director General of Police, Coastal Security Group, Chennai. The children, along with their coaches and team, are starting the event at Mandapam, Rameshwaram on 5th August 2024 and reaching Chennai Marina on 15th August 2024 crossing 604kms.

The Team Wave Riders seek financial support from all to make the event successful.
