In an address to the press Dr Kaushik spoke about the latest advances in cataract surgery and how cataract surgery could render a patient glass free for life by implanting the latest in Indian and imported intraocular lenses while the surgery itself could be completely painless and a day care procedure with the patient following the daily routines a very next day itself.
