Chennai, 25th February 2024 – In commemoration of National Science Day 2024, ARPR Events successfully hosted the prestigious "Sci-Edu Awards 2024", today at the Tamil Virtual Academy Auditorium, Chennai. As the Sci-Edu Awards 2024 unfolded, recognizing outstanding contributions in science education, the event awarded and celebrated the outstanding contributions of educators, teachers, professors, and scholars in the field of science education across India.

The ceremony featured an impressive array of educators, professors, and scholars who have significantly contributed to the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Scientific Technology. The heart of the event was the recognition of 58 outstanding educators selected by an esteemed jury panel from more than 500 entries received. These awardees stand as exemplars of excellence, dedicating their efforts to shaping the scientific landscape of our nation.

The distinguished Chief Guest, Shri. A.K. Farvaze Ahmed, Principal Scientist at CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre, Chennai, graced the occasion. His insightful remarks resonated with the audience, emphasizing the pivotal role of scientific research and engineering in national development.

The event featured enlightening with Guest of Honours with their special addresses. Prof. Dr. D Viswanathan, Former Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, shared his perspective on "The role of Engineering & research in nation development." Prof. Dr. N. Panchanatham, UGC-Standing Committee Member, New Delhi, delivered an inspiring talk on "Science, Research & Nation Building."

The presiding officer, Prof. Dr. S Thirumagamn, Principal of Hindustan College of Arts & Science, Chennai, provided leadership to the proceedings, ensuring a seamless flow of events.

The highlight of the day was the recognition and felicitation of teachers, professors, and scholars in the field of science education. Selected by a distinguished Jury panel, these awardees represent the epitome of excellence and dedication in fostering a scientific temperament among students.
