The event highlighted that India’s consumption story is intact and in fact still growing, making India one of the top countries in retail. The fact that offline retail is still profitable and has seen decent growth in 22-23 along with a tremendous push in digital retail, means that the future for retail in India is bright, provided retailers streamline their operations and adopt digital technology.
