Adinath Jain Trust Seva Kendra donates free prosthetic aids to 500 differently abled underprivileged people

 

  • Adinath Jain Trust Seva Kendra in association with kind hearted sponsors shower the gifts of mobility upon 500 differently abled underprivileged people with free prosthetic aids worth Rupees Twenty Lakhs;
  • Thiru. Shankar Jiwal, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police distributed the Artificial limbs, Clutches, Tri-Cycles, Wheel Chairs, Spectacles, Hearing Aids and Walking Supporters to the deserving;
  • A free computerized eye testing unit was also inaugurated during the event

Chennai, April 22, 2022: In an endeavour to empower people with movement disability in their journey from dependence to independence, Adinath Jain Trust, Choolai, Chennai, organised yet another camp for distributing free prosthetic mobility aids worth Rupees Twenty Lakhs for 500 beneficiaries. The camp was sponsored by Dharmichand, Paras, Pankaj Tejas and the Ranka Family.

In addition to the distribution of mobility aids, the trust also launched a computerized eye testing unit to benefit the needy and poor.

Thiru. Shankar Jiwal, IPS, DGP, Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police, presided over as the Chief Guest. The other dignitaries included Shri Dharmichandji Ranka, Shri Anilji Luniya, Shri Prakashchandji Gulecha, Shri. Madanlalji Chowatia, Shri. Jindasji Nahar, Mrs. Snehlathaji Surana, Shri. Laxmi Raj Bachavat and Shri. Dharmichandji Kawad.




Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manoj Jain, Managing Trustee of Adinath Jain Trust said, “With a motto of creating and nurturing an inclusive society for the differently abled, we at Adinath Jain Trust have been organising periodical screening and distribution camps to provide artificial prosthetic mobility aids to people with movement disabilities for over four decades now. So far, we have benefitted over 13 lakh people and with todays camp, we have transformed the lives of 500 more! Beginning today, we will also be offering free computerized eye testing facility for the needy and poor people in our society. All these actions stem from our strong belief that with such prosthetic mobility aids, and essential organ screening camps, not only will their quality of lives improve, but their confidence and social standing in the society will be elevated to the next level.

Appreciating and thanking the sponsors for their magnanimity, Mr Jain said Restoring hope, life and independence, our sponsors, have not only gifted mobility to such needy and deserving people, but have also transformed their lives by helping them seek right employment opportunities that will reduce their dependence on the family members, increase their savings and eventually make their future hopeful, sans the social stigma.

The Secretary of the Trust Dr. Mohan Jain insisted on the importance and health benefits of Vegetarianism during the occasion.
