Folk-Phorescence, is an exhibition of Manjunath Wali's paintings, a Karnataka based contemporary artist. Phosphorescence is the light emitted by a substance without combustion or heat and makes the substance look almost like it's glowing from within. Folk-phorescence signifies the inner glow and charm of folk life which is soothing, rustic and lasts a long time.

Inspired by the idea of art as an immersive experience, we at Vennba progressed to intertwining the technology of Augmented Reality with art. For the first time in Chennai people can now experience pieces by Manjunath Wali come alive in front of them at our gallery.

Manjunath Wali, a karnataka based artist who draws inspiration from his hometown, Huvin in Karnataka. He used to be a watercolour landscape artist and his evolved to be a contemporary folk style. He uses of arch ural drawings in his work.
