Rotary Club of Madras vaccination drive gets tremendous response || 5 more camps being organized 21st and 22nd

Chennai: The vaccination camps started by the Rotary Club of Madras  in association with Greater Chennai Corporation have been well received.

The camps were held on 16th and 17th at different centers across Chennai. The camps were inaugurated by Thiru Gagandeep  Singh Bedi IAS, The Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai and Dr Ezhilan Naganathan, MLA.

According to Rtn P B Prasad who is spearheading the massive program under the leadership of Pres Kapil Chitale,the camps have been carried out keeping the Covid protocol in mind and with no compromises. So far 2050 people have beem vaccinated.Today the vcamp for the hospitality industry also saw 285 frontline workers getting the vaccinationfrom different Hotels including Star Hotels.

President Kapil says that 3 more camps are going to be organized by RCM tomorrow 21st  for all including 18 plus.

Two more on 22nd May. It may be recalled that the TN Govt has appointed the Rotary Club of Madras as Nodal Agency to facilitate the vaccination drive.
