Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Launched 'E-Commerce on Wheels" Kadaiveedhi Cart" for underprivileged women, differently abled and transgenders
CHENNAI, TN - To celebrate international Women's day on March 8th, 2021, Actor Founder, Save Sakthi Foundation, Ms.Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has launched Kadaiveedhi's E-Commerce On Wheels. It's a street cart loaded with women made products like Hair care Skin Care, Accessories, Jewellery, Groceries, Podis, Pickles,Oils, Appalams, Sweets, Snacks, Perfumes, Incense sticks, Scented candles & more. This cart will be sponsored for underprivileged women, differently abled and transgenders to create careers and financial independence during this pandemic.

We started Kadaiveedhi Shop in 2017 to encourage women to sell on e-Commerce, especially mothers who couldn't get back to work after childbirth. All they have is 4 hours in a day and with that, we have built brands out of them, says Sangeetha Arunachalam, Co-Founder, and Operations Head of Kadaiveedhi.
Kadaiveedhi is not just an e-commerce platform. It's a complete skill development program to ideate, mature, educate and build new products/services/events out of women who crave for financial independence, says Jay Thattai, Co-Founder, Technology, Strategy & Marketing head of Kadaiveedhi.
