MARITIME INDIA SUMMIT 2021 - MARCH 2nd TO 4th 2021

  • India Summit 2021 scheduled to be held between 2nd - 4th March 2021.

Chennai, February 22, 2021: The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Gol is conducting a Virtual Maritime India Summt 2021 (MIS) from 2nd March 2021 to 4th March 2021. The Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit on 2nd March. Around 1 Lakh delegates, more than 40 parther counties will be joining the event. MIS 2021 will be a powerful platform for international collaboration and bring in partner countries for mutual exchange of knowledge and opportunities. FICCI is the industry partner for the summit.

The Summit while showcasing abundant opportunities in the maritime sector in India will also provide an excellent forum for exchange of ideas and networking Investment opportunities exist in all segments of the Maritime Sector viz development of world class ports, modernization and development of new berths terminals in existing ports, connectivity projects (road, rail and inland water transport), coastal shipping, cruise tourism, maritime education & training, shipbuilding & ship repair, ship breaking dredging and development of "Smart Port Industrial Cities".

The Maritime India Summit 2021 will provide a platform which will have virtual presence of prominent shipping and transport Ministers and dignitaries from across the world. Maritime States of India will participate in the Summit through dedicated sessions. The Summit will also include an exclusive CEOs forum and various thematic and breakout sessions. The Summit will be attended by policy planners, domestic and international investors, experts and all stakeholders and representatives of Ports.
