CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) Therapeutic Supervision Masterclass Training Programme
- The participants are from various parts of the country from Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology, Counselling, Corporate Mental Health and Allied Health Professions.

February 05, 2020: In the modern fast track society mental health issues are on
the increase People develop low tolerance towards environmental upheavals and
it affects interpersonal relationship in the living environment. Disorders
like anxiety, depression, suicidal tendencies, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
(OCD), Paranoid disorders, Panic attacks, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
(PTSD), Sleep disorders, School Refusal / Phobia, Marital Disorders, Work
stress burnout, and Somatoform disorders are on the increase from children to
elderly people.
Most
of these conditions are treated by Pharmacological management and seldom the
behavioural therapeutic intervention are applied. Interestingly
Behavioural Therapy like CBT are proven as a best adjunct therapy for the
management of above mental health issues.

We
have no proper accredited CBT training programme in India. Considering the
societal needs and to reduce Pharmacotherapy dependency on these mental health
issues, we are organizing the CBT Therapeutic Supervision Masterclass training
programme by Dr. ANDREW BECK, DClin Psych, President- Elect of the British
Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapists (BABCP), Consultant
Clinical Psychologist & BABCP accredited supervisor, UK.
This 3
days intensive CBT programme is not only training mental health professionals
as Supervisors but also equip them to treat the mental health issues mentioned
above and make these people to lead a happy healthy life. The CBT Therapeutic
Supervision Mesterclass programme is being conducted on 06, 07 & 08
February 2020 at WELCOM HOTEL CHENNAI (Member ITC's Hotel group), Cathedral
Road, Chennai 600086 organized by the Care Institute of Behavioural Sciences,
Chennai (a unit of HELP CHILD Charitable Trust).
