Victoria Technical Institute (VTI) Conducted Drawing Competition for School Students
- The competition is divided into three categories based on age groups 5yrs to 9 yrs, 10-13yrs and 14 – 17yrs
Chennai,
21st December 2019: Victoria Technical Institute, Chennai organised the drawing
competition for school students at age group of 5 to 17 years under different
topics. Drawing competition was to create awareness of Handicraft work in
the mind of young children and also to encourage the children to participate in
the field of art.
Around
500 school students across Chennai participated and showcased their talents at
the competition. The competition is divided into three categories based on age
groups 5yrs to 9 yrs, 10-13yrs and 14 – 17yrs in each categories first
three best drawing where selected and given award to the respective students.
The certificate of participation has given to all other participants of the
drawing competition.

Pugaazhenthi,
M.F.A, Renowned Artist, Professor in Painting, Government College of Fine Art,
Chennai delivered Chief Guest address and distributed prizes to the winners of
the Competition. The Interim
Administrator Justice P Shanmugam presided over the function.
In
recent days the importance and the wonderful Handicraft works importance is
slowly disappearing. To bring awareness among the student community Victoria
Technical institute organised drawing competition said Mrs. K Swathi, Chief Executive Officer Victoria Technical Institute.
The motto of institute is to market the Handicrafts articles created by the
efficient artisan so they have their livelihood added, Mrs K Swathi.
