About this Conference: The world is going digital at an unprecedentedly fast pace, and this pace is only going to go even faster. Artificial Intelligence Is Changing Cyber Security Landscape and Preventing Cyber Attacks. Robotic Process Automation [RPA] RPA technology can mimic a human worker. RPA bots can log into applications, enter data, calculate and complete tasks and then log out. Internet of Things (IoT) Using unique identifiers (UIDs) has the capability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. By using Machine learning algorithms which is subsect of Artificial Intelligence, computer systems cam perform a specific task without using explicit instructions, relying on patterns and inference instead. By allowing digital information to be distributed but not copied, block chain technology, originally devised for digital currency and bitcoin, has revolutionized internet and has created the About this Conference backbone of a new type of internet.
In the context of this unprecedented technology revolution there is a need for internal auditors to follow the lean methodology which basically means cutting down areas of wasteful audit projects unnecessary non value add activities and eliminating them, concentrating on business improvement by assisting management in improving the top line. There is also a need for internal auditors to be more agile by keeping pace with the developments in the digital world described above and rethink on audit strategies, plans and execution. Both lean and agile methodologies call for a major change in mindset of both the management and the internal auditor the approach to risk management, more reliance on the internal audit function and providing the required skills and resources to make internal audit more proactive.

The Conference discussion topics have been structured under three Parallel Tracks with a special Keynote Address under each Track. In addition the Conference agenda includes two Panel Discussion Sessions on whether an internal auditor can be a whistle blower and a discussion on the need for a Regulatory Framework for Internal Audit. In this background the theme of the Conference is Lean, Mean, Agile" which provides a platform for experts to share their views on various topics relating to the main theme of the conference summarized above.
