The Most Awaited Fashion Event, ‘Phoenix Fashion Icon 2019’ brought together Aspiring Models and Fashionistas to the limelight!
- Bollywood diva Mughda Godse, Prachi Tehlan of Mamangam fame and Osman Abdul Razak, a known name in men's fashion, added glamour as celebrity judges.
Chennai: Phoenix MarketCity Chennai, the
one-stop lifestyle destination, hosted the very first edition of Chennai's
biggest runway contest for models called,
‘Phoenix Fashion Icon – 2019’ on the 9thNovember 2019 (Saturday). The
grand event gave aspiring fashionistas of the city a chance to showcase their
talents.

Keeping in mind the rising sense of fashion in
Chennai, Phoenix MarketCity offered as wholesome experience through the event.
The contestants were selected based on their performance at different levels of
auditions. The selected contestants were groomed by Celebrity Fashion Choreographer,
Sandeep Dharma and given dance training sessions by John Britto,
Chennai’s most prominent choreographer.
The mall premiered the Phoenix Fashion Icon -
2019 in order to give discerning people the platform that they have dreamt
of. The event was a night of glitz & glamour with industry veterans,
trained and groomed contestants by Celebrity Choreographer – Sandeep Dharma, on
the ramp to fight the fashion battle.
Top names from the world of fashion attended the
event setting benchmarks by showcasing some of the finest national and
international fashion brands under a single roof. Manish Kumar N and Jita
Mopatara were winners of the Phoenix Fashion icon - 2019. Hemanth
Krishna Sai G and Sufanri Fella Lynghoi were the runners-up. In addition to
it, there were other special titles given away to the participants. Other subsidiary
title such as, Mr. Popular and Miss Popular were won by Aquib Hussain and Jaina D Jain
respectively. The title for the Best Smile was shared by R Mushtak Ahamed and Deekshita Nikkam.They participants were given 10 Lakh worth prizes
along with the coveted title of Phoenix Fashion Icon 2019!
