Chennai, November 17, 2019: Indian Medical Association, Porur branch and Magnacode Healthcare & Education Trust jointly organised a CME titled Magna Endocrine Update at Hotel Feathers, Manapakkam today.

IMA Porur branch President Dr.M.K.SUDHAKAR welcomed the gathering. Thyroid disorders in pregnancy medical aspects was covered by Dr. G. Shanmugasundar & Surgical aspects by Dr.M.S.Dhalapathy.

Dr.Anantharaman gave practical tips on when and how to evaluate if child is short. Obesity was covered by Drs Santhosh & Roshni. Insulin in GDM - When, what and how was covered by Dr.G.Shanmugasundar, MD of Magnacode.


Dr. Santosh spoke on Vit D deficiency, Dr. Mirudhubashini covered the subject PCOS management in Adolescents and Dr. Rohit Warrier spoke on Diabetes management with new class of Drugs. Dr.G. Shanmugasundar extended the vote of thanks. More than 300 delegates attended this Update.

The breakthrough procedure offers renewed hope for patients suffering from end-stage heart failure with limited treatment options. The procedure was carried out on a 42-year-old man who presented with severe chest pain and breathlessness and was diagnosed with a massive heart attack that caused extensive damage to the heart muscle.
