15th Annual Convocation of SRMIST was held on 10th of November 2019

• About 9010 students were awarded Under Graduate and Doctoral Degrees from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, 49 students were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their academic achievements and 90 students received their Ph.D. degrees.

Chennai, Kattankulathur: SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Kattankulathur, held its 15th Annual Convocation on 10th November 2019.

K.N. Vyas, Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India Receiving Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) (Honoris Causa) from Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar, Founder-Chancellor of SRM Institute of Science & Technology

Chief Guest for the event was Shri A. Rajarajan, Director of Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, ISR0, Sriharikota. He delivered the Convocation address. B. Tech, B. Arch and B. Des graduates and Doctoral candidates in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology received their degree.

Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar, Founder-Chancellor of SRM Institute of Science & Technology and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha presided over the convocation. The Vice Chancellor of SRMIST, Dr. Sandeep Sancheti presented the Annual Report. The Convocation was held in the presence of SRMIST Chairman Shri Ravi Pachamoothoo, President of SRMIST Dr. P. Sathyanarayanan, Vice President Dr. R. Shivakumar.
