Actress Kajal Aggarwal inaugurates ‘THE BRIDAL STORY’, the biggest and most-awaited Wedding Exhibition by JITO Chennai Ladies Wing

  • THE BRIDAL STORY brought together the most premier and recognized designers, bespoke jewellers, wedding planners, photographers, caterers and everything in the wedding business to transform a routine wedding into an exhilarating experience.

Chennai: ‘THE BRIDAL STORY’, the biggest and the most-awaited wedding exhibition was organized by JITO Chennai Ladies Wing. Kollywood star and the ever-so-gorgeous Kajal Aggarwal inaugurated this exclusive luxury exhibition on 14th September at Taj Coromandel in presence of other guests including Shantanu Goenka, Falguni Shane Peacock, Shubda Dadha, Shweta Gupta, Vimmi Deepak, Rachna Kumar, Sharmila Oswal, Sangita Rathod, Dimple Jain, Dr.Priya, Amrit and Shalini Arvind. By bringing together a selection of the finest wedding suppliers under one roof, THE BRIDAL STORY provided a forum for people who share a passion for style and luxury.

“Think Luxury, Think Elegance, Think Exclusivity and you will get a keynote of what The Bridal Story had to offer,” says Sonali Dugar, Chairperson, JITO Ladies Wing Chennai.

Designer labels and brands like like Falguni Shane Peacock, Anju Modi, Gaurav Gupta, Rahul Gandhi + Rohit Khanna and Shantanu Goenka showcased their latest bridal collections at The Bridal Story. In the jewellery segment, the biggest names from the nation including Challani Jewellers, Mehta & Sons, Preksha Gems, Zahav, Silver Emporium and PMJ Jewels were a part of this exhibition.

Also, a dedicated space housed a ‘Designer Pavilion’ By Evoluzione and Nahar Group that showcased apparel from popular designers across India. The Bridal Story was organized by the Ladies Wing of JITO (Jain International Trade Organisation), a single, largest organisation of prominent Jain business tycoons, Industrialists, Professionals, Thought Leaders and Innovators who are experts in their fields in India and across the Globe. 


The organisation is focused to set industry benchmarks for sustainable business growth and greater economic empowerment. It seeks to inspire and facilitate opportunities and networking platforms for men,women and aspiring youth. 💢💢

Chennai, August 19, 2025: In a remarkable medical achievement, the multidisciplinary team at SIMS Hospital successfully treated a young IT professional suffering from Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP), a rare and aggressive skin cancer that swiftly spreads to surrounding tissues, including muscle and bone. In the patient’s case, the cancer had severely affected his scalp and skull. The scalp is now fully covered with healthy and stable tissue. The patient will need regular follow-up for early detection of recurrence, sun protection, and good scalp hygiene. After the tumour was removed, the patient’s skull was reconstructed. Then, the scalp was repaired in stages using skin grafts ,flaps tissue expander and the final repair using a piece of tissue from the patient’s thigh. Chennai, August 22, 2025 — A recent study by the Insurance Awareness Committee (IAC-Life), conducted in collaboration with Kantar, a market research platform has identified Tamil Nadu as one of the states with a high potential for life insurance penetration. The study underscored the importance of region-specific insights in advancing life insurance penetration. It has presented data that helped understand financial preparedness and life insurance awareness across regions in India.
