Heartfulness Career Fair - Student & Youth Empowerment Event


  • More than 100s of students from more than 120 institutions took part in this daylong event.

Global Heartfulness Institute conducted a first of its kind "Heartfulness Career Fair" at its Chennai premises (Babuji Memorial Ashram, Manapakkam, Chennai today. Several companies had career guidance and placement stalls. There were also career counselling stalls where one-on-one guidance was offered to students. Many students had the opportunity to shared their resumes with leading companies and also set up a follow through interview for furthering their job opportunities.

The evening plenary session had celebrity speakers like Actor R J Balaji and Director N Lingusamy sharing their real life experiences and inspiring the students to imbibe positive habits that will help them shape their careers. There were speakers from HR side who shared their wisdom on Emotional Intelligence, Entrepreneurship etc. The talk by Lt. Col. Murugunandham (Retd.) on "Alternative career options in Armed forces" drew great appreciation from all present.

The day also had relaxation and Heartfulness meditation sessions by Heartfulness trainers. This helped students to gain invaluable skills to keep them happy and calm under demanding and stressful situations.

The 20 acres of expansive greenery, ambience and tasty food kept the students in a wonderful setting the whole day, away from the hustle buzzle of their daily lives.
