DJ Bravo Felicitated at Velammal Vidyalaya, Mangadu, Chennai

DJ Bravo, the Global Cricket Icon swept through the hearts of Velammalians at Velammal Vidyalaya, Mangadu on Monday. 

Chennai, July, 2019: He felicitated the exemplary sports achievers and inaugurated the Students’ Cabinet Investiture Ceremony. Arriving amidst the thunderous applause, the icon addressed and greeted the Velammalians.

The leaders were honoured with badges. Bravo interacted with the student council members who asked him questions on his likes and dislikes. Finally, he rocked the stage with his signature Helicopter moves. 
His speech inspired the Velammalians to channelise their energy to excel in their career path. The management felicitated him cordially during this event. The same felicitation ceremony was also held at Velammal Vidyalaya, Poonamallee.

Chennai, March 24, 2026: In a landmark advancement for cardiac care in India, Madras Medical Mission (MMM) has successfully performed the country’s first implantation of the Evaheart Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), while also achieving a global first with the implantation of the latest-generation Evaheart 3 model. The breakthrough procedure offers renewed hope for patients suffering from end-stage heart failure with limited treatment options. The procedure was carried out on a 42-year-old man who presented with severe chest pain and breathlessness and was diagnosed with a massive heart attack that caused extensive damage to the heart muscle.
